Oddy - Summer / Summer - Oddy

"Now I know the horse I'll be riding in the next weeks - and, as some kind of finale, compete with at the olympic showjumping...
Her (yes, she's a mare, thank goodness) name is Seaborn Odyssey, but I've told to simply call her Oddy. She's... incredible.
Both in an admirable and a funny way..
The people here are amazingly kind, devoted their time to show me everything and made sure that I enjoyed the greatest comfort. It sounds flowery, but that's the only description that could do... Already a few hours after my arrival I got to know my "rented" horse. And today, I rode her for the first time.
Her usual rider (her name is Shinto, as she said) told me some useful things about her, wished me luck, then I mounted.

Well... I think it will be a lot of work - for me, of course, Oddy is a routinier. I just always found it difficult to ride different horses, and she seemed to know that; she played tricks on me all the time. I just think it's my luck that Blue is a similar character. It took me some time to get though to her, and it will take me some time to get through to Oddy, too. I hope I can do this... by now I feel a little nervous about all that.

What I love is her canter. Her gaits are wonderful, it feels like on a swing.
She's really agile, especially when she gallops."
