Weeks came and went - and slowly, we were getting better and better. Faster and faster. Safer.
Oddy exposed to be a very willing mare, powerful and agile, and it was amazing, somehow even addictive to work with her.
I was already full of confidence again - and if I at first wanted to place well, because I wanted Anne to be proud of me, I now felt like I was able to take a chance - and just to participate, to be part of this big competition seemed wonderful.
I was proud of what I had achieved with my leased horse, and it couldn't have been better. As crazy as it sounds, for me it was almost enough! I had showed Anne what I was capable to do - and the showjumping competition was like an icing on a cake.

This very morning seemed to be the best of all.
Just 5 more mornings until the other participants would arrive!
Eagerly I mounted, pushed Oddy forward and lifted my nose into the cool air. It smelled of horses and fresh-cut grass.
My horse snorted and tossed her head up, and I just had to grin. "Onwards, my faithful steed!", I exclaimed. "To new adventures!"

One of my first ideas - and the first picture I drew in the holidays. xD
The sky is inspired by a dawn I saw in real - we were sitting in my grandma's car, when the sun rose and everything looked like this ↑. It was wonderful - and I just wanted to draw it.
Please ignore the kink in the corner T_T it was my fault.
